It is with great sadness that Stafford Harriers has to announce the death of Peter Burns.
Pete Burns was a former Chairman of Stafford Harriers and also Chairman of National Cross Country Association.
In association with Regent Travel he organised the long haul and European harrier running trips.
He was heavily involved in maintaining the club website.
He joined the club in June 1999. Pete was wonderful person and very supportive of runners of all abilities.
The Club sends our sincere condolences to the family at this very sad time.
Peter Burns funeral is Friday 6th June at 2.30pm at Stafford Crematorium and the Wake is at Stafford Rangers Social Club.
As per Peter’s wish there will be free bar
